Q10042407 -After updating the ARC-1686-2NOD card to 1.69, the fan remains very high (around 6300 RPM). Is this normal?

This firmware increase the fan speed as some drives have higher working temperature which may generate temperature problem. In raid web manager console, the advanced features menu, you can try to adjust System Fan Control mode to find a properly fan speed for your condition.
