Since ARC-1224 uses the new flash chip from the PCB 2.0, it cannot accept the firmware old that the firmware version 1.55 date: 2018/02/20. You can make an USB-Boot stick with the good old MS-DOS, request the arcflash.exe and 12140124.bin from Areca support and flashed it to recovery it.
