Q10081502- ARC-1883i connects with two expanders inside DataOn storage CIB-9470 70 bays JBOD. But one expander, all HD showed up. However, another expander only show 4 x HD with odd name “smpDev #1-4”

It is an issue of ARC-1883i RAID adapter firmware that supported Dell MD1000. Areca has removed the Dell MD1000 supported from firmware version 1.52 date:2015-01-23 or later. User needs to keep on using old version with Dell MD1000.
