Enabling and using the "root" user in OS X to delete Areca driver file in \Library\Extension/ArcMSR.kext and reinstall it again. The root user in OS X is disabled by default. Follow the steps in the https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204012 to enable and use the "root" user when needed.
