Q70011304 - The alarm sounded when a hard drive went bad on ARC-8026. The hard drive was replaced and the raid rebuilt. Everything has good status in the CLI. The logs show no problems. However, the alarm won't stop beeping. The CLI says the alarm is off and mute does nothing. I have tried powering down the whole box, but that doesn't reset it.

The expander onboard beeper can be triggered by expander firmware and host adapter through SES2 protocol. Your beeping flag sent by host adapter did not been reset. The CLI mute function can mute the errors beeper that was generated by the expander not the beeping request from host. In expander CLI, you can use “bu” command to find out the beeping source from host's request or not.
