ARC-8050T3U RAID storage is based on the Intel Thunderbolt TitanRidge JHL7440 Controller. But it has issue with Gigabyte Z390 Designare M/B that is based on Intel Thunderbolt TitanRidge JHL7440 Controller using NVM firmware version 33. There has no issue from similar ASUS product PRIME X299-DELUXE II using NVM firmware version 35. This behavior can be fixed using new version TB3 device firmware on the ARC-8080T3U RAID storage side.
