Q80012503 - Intel Macs always load system Areca builtin driver (ArcMSR version 1.4.2) in first priority no matter the driver you manually installed is newer or not.

Areca OS build-in driver is kernel extension. But Macs new OS no longer support kernel extensions driver update. You need to change the RAID adapter device ID using ARC1886BOOT.86 code (ID:188A->1886)and arc1883firm-id-1883.bin (ID:1880->1883) , so OS will load the manually installation software extension driver downloaded from our web site instead of kernel extension similar as M1 Macs.
