Q90012412- What would be the benefit of Areca RAID adapter host interface switching from "Areca Legacy Mode" (currently on) or "NVME Mode"?

NVMe mode means raid adapter will emulate as a NVMe device, what drive type you use is irrelevant. And the advantage of NVMe mode is builtin driver support as NVMe device is default supported by all currently available operating systems.
