ARC-8028 doesnot set the external port to 6Gb/s speed on any version firmware except the cable management capability enable. Please use the "CLI>cable off " command to disable the cable management capability function.

Cable management off= always runs at 12 Gb/s speed (for wrong Eeprom value).

Cable management on= speed depends on Eeprom on the cable that it is inquired by the expander.
