Each 10G port of ARC-8780 is handled by an independent PCIe function; it's ok to assign arbitrary IP to each of them. However, it's not a good practice to assign multiple NIC ports to the same subnet for the initiator side. Things may not behave the way you expected... always assign each NIC port to a different subnet.
