Q10021307 - I recently added 2 drives and expanded the RAID and the volume. Now the computer (MacPro) still sees the Volume with 8TB size when it should be 12TB.


In system disk utility, the disk capacity and the partition capacity belongs to different layer. The disk capacity is the volume capacity you created in raid card manager and the disk capacity will be expanded not the partition. RAID adapters do not touch anything in the volume including the partition table. If you would like to expand the partition, you may need to have software like iPartition.
