Although the 32G fibre controller supports 32G/16G/8Gbps data rates, only 32Gbps & 16Gbps SFPs are supported. That is, even if the speed is set to 8Gbps fixed, controller still needs to use 16G or 32G SFPs for such applications. Be noticed that the said 32G/16G/8Gbps data rates are for point-to-point topology only. Loop topology supports only 8Gbps speed.
