Q80022207 - ARC-8050T3-24R works just fine on Intel iMac pro, but it won’t boot up with new Mac studio m1 max. M1 Mac can start up the controller if no drives connected.

ARC-8050T3-24R expander firmware supports the ability to spin up the disk drives sequentially or in groups, allowing the drives to come ready at the optimum time. But ARC-8050T3-24R cannot meet the short start up time on the Mac studio m1 max when expander firmware selects the sequentially spins up the disk drives option. This issue can fix by setting the option to spin up the drives in groups from the “Spin Command” on the expander firmware.
