Q10031101-My Solaris 10 system has no floppy drive. I want to use the driver update during install, so I can boot from the RAID array. I extracted the floppy image (ARCMSR.DD) and burned the DU folder onto a CD. When I try to use this CD at the option 5 Apply driver updates, Solaris says "extracting software in /dev/dsk/c0t0d0p0" but does not install any package.

In case of system without floppy drive and OS version is older does not support USB flash drive, CD/DVD is the only driver installation media. arcmsr.iso is made for this purpose. The SATA/SAS RAID driver image, arcmsr.iso, of CD for Solaris has been released at FTP.
