In the shell enter the following command:

rem_drv arcmsr

add_drv –i “pci17d3,1880” arcmsr

update_drv –a –i “pci17d3,1880” arcmsr

No warnings or errors should be returned. And return to installer (F1) and select No to continue the installation. The issue seems to be that 1880 mapping is missing in the etc_aliases file, but it is indeed included in the 3.1.0 and 3.1.1 release.
